November 10, 1964 – September 19, 2026

Andrew "Andy"  Ojeda, 61, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of those who knew him.

Born on November 10, 1964, in Pasadena, Texas, Andrew was a lifelong Houston-area native who took great pride in his family, his community, and the many friendships he built throughout his life.

Andrew was known for his outgoing personality, his great sense of style, and his ability to make lasting connections with the people around him. He cherished his friendships and maintained many close relationships throughout the years. He was also known for always having something to say—and, true to his personality, he often had to have the last word.

A proud graduate of South Houston High School, Class of 1984, Andrew enjoyed being active and spending time outdoors. During his younger years, he played both football and track and field. He remained an avid sports fan throughout his life, especially cheering on his favorite Houston teams.

Andy loved good food, good music, and good company. He enjoyed attending Tejano dances, gathering with friends and family for BBQ cookouts, and exploring restaurants throughout Pasadena, San Antonio, and New Braunfels. He was always excited to discover a new taqueria or restaurant and enjoyed sharing those experiences with the people he loved.

Above all else, family was especially important to Andrew. He held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews and treasured the time he spent with them. His generous spirit, outgoing nature, humor, and unforgettable personality will remain cherished memories for his family and friends. He enjoyed working with Harris County Pct. 2 under the direction of Sylvia Garcia and Adrian Garcia. 

Andrew is survived by his brothers, Robert Ojeda and Phillip Ojeda; his sisters, Irene Olivarez, Mary Garibay, Arlene Llamas, Jackie Gonzales, and Sara Carrizales; his nephews, Michael, Jason, Matthew, and Phillip Anthony; his nieces, Jessica, Alina, Victoria, and Kristal; his great-nephews, Mason and Drew; and his great-nieces, Mia, Emily, Venicia, Abigail and Penelope, along with numerous extended family members and dear friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Placido Ojeda; his mother, Clemencia G. Ojeda; and his sister, Clemencia Ojeda.

Andrew leaves behind a lifetime of memories filled with family gatherings, laughter, friendships, sports, music, good food, and countless stories that will continue to be shared for generations to come. His vibrant personality and the love he had for his family will never be forgotten.

May Andrew rest peacefully, and may his memory forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
