Alfredo de Jesús Cavazos, de 73 años, nació el 15 de octubre de 1947 en Allende, Nuevo León, México, y fue llamado a la presencia de su Señor y Salvador el 21 de enero de 2021 en Houston, Texas.

Alfredo fue un esposo devoto, padre amoroso, abuelo orgulloso, hermano querido, tío entrañable y gran amigo. Se distinguió por su incansable ética de trabajo, su noble corazón y su extraordinario sentido del humor. Tenía el don de hacer reír a quienes lo rodeaban, y sus bromas permanecían en la memoria de familiares y amigos mucho tiempo después de haberlas contado. Amó profundamente y de todo corazón, y su espíritu alegre y generoso dejó una huella imborrable en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

Le sobreviven para atesorar y honrar su memoria su amada esposa de 48 años de matrimonio, María del Carmen Cavazos; su hijo, Efrén Cavazos y su esposa, Angela; su hija, Karla García y su esposo, Arturo; sus hermanos, José Efraín Cavazos y Jesús Gerardo Cavazos; sus hermanas, María Adelaida Cavazos y María Concepción Cavazos; sus queridos nietos, Arturo-Ludek, Kaira, Kamila y Mateo; así como numerosos familiares y amigos cuyas vidas fueron enriquecidas por su cariño y amistad.

Alfredo será profundamente extrañado y recordado con gran cariño por todos aquellos que tuvieron la dicha de conocerlo. Su legado de amor, alegría, fe y dedicación a su familia vivirá para siempre en los corazones de quienes lo amaron.

Alfredo de Jesus Cavazos, 73, was born on October 15, 1947, in Allende, Nuevo León, Mexico, and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 21, 2021, in Houston, Texas.

Alfredo was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, cherished brother, uncle, and dear friend. He was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and wonderful sense of humor. Alfredo had a remarkable gift for making others laugh, and his jokes often remained a treasured memory long after they were told. He loved deeply and wholeheartedly, and his warm spirit brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Family was the center of Alfredo’s life. He always made sure his loved ones were cared for and supported, especially his beloved wife, whom he cherished throughout their 48 years of marriage. His unwavering love, generosity, and dedication to his family will forever be remembered.

He was preceded in death by his father, Efraín Cavazos; his mother, Enedelia Cavazos; his sister, Hilda Cavazos; and his brother-in-law, Luis Breton.

Alfredo leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 48 years, Maria del Carmen Cavazos; his son, Efren Cavazos and wife Angela; his daughter, Karla Garcia and husband Arturo; his brothers, Jose Efrain Cavazos and Jesus Gerardo Cavazos; his sisters, Maria Adelaida Cavazos and Maria Concepcion Cavazos; his beloved grandchildren, Arturo-Ludek, Kaira, Kamila, and Mateo; as well as many other relatives and countless friends whose lives he touched.

Alfredo will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, laughter, faith, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
