Alfred Garcia Rivera, 78, was born on May 29, 1942 in El Campo, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 4, 2020 in Pasadena, Texas.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.  Alfred was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Rivera, Sr.; his mother, Henrietta Garcia Rivera; also by his twin baby sisters, Antonia Rivera and Candelaria Rivera.  He leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his loving wife of 57 years of marriage, Dominga P. Rivera; his children, Dolores Rivera, Rosemary R. Chapa & husband Raul A. Chapa, and Mario R. Rivera & wife Irene H. Rivera; siblings, Mercedes Arismendez, Eva R. Molina, Amelia Mata, Linda Moreno, Albert Rivera, and Arthur Rivera; his grandchildren, Clarisa M. Alderete, Raul A. Chapa, Jr., Gabriella O. Chapa, Carlos R. Chapa, Mario L. Rivera, and Mia L. Rivera; his great grandchildren, Alexander T. Carbajal, Selene L. Carbajal, Jayden A. Chapa, Jazzalyn J. Ramirez, Aubree N. Chapa, and Ariana Iris Chapa; he also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.  Alfred will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by his beautiful soul.
