Agapito Deleon, Jr.

In Loving Memory of Agapito “Aggie” Deleon, Jr.

August 14,1954 ~ August 19, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Agapito “Aggie” Deleon, Jr., who left us peacefully on August 19, 2025. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, a cherished grandfather, and a loyal friend whose love for life touched everyone who knew him.

Agapito had a passion for sports, especially his beloved Houston Astros. Whether cheering from his favorite chair at home or at the ballpark, he found joy in every game. Beyond the stadium, he loved the simple and beautiful moments in life—playing a round of golf, enjoying Mexican food, listening to music, and watching the sun melt into the horizon. His happiest days were often spent walking along the beach, hand in hand with loved ones, soaking in the beauty of a sunset. A man of great curiosity and adventure, Agapito had a deep love for traveling and exploring the world. No matter where he went, though, he always carried with him the love of his family. Family was at the heart of everything he did—whether at a ballgame, a dinner table, a beach walk, or a trip abroad, his greatest joy was simply being surrounded by those he loved most.

He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of his wife, Maria Deleon; his children, Christopher Deleon, Andrea Saxey, Kayla Moctezuma, and Delilah Deleon; his grandchildren, Troy, Tyan, Gabriel, Scarlett, Juliana, Sabrina; and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though he has left this world, the warmth of his love, the sound of his laughter, and the strength of his presence will never fade. He will be remembered always as a man who lived life fully, loved deeply, and taught us all the value of family and togetherness.
