Ramiro Zavala, 90, was born on March 12, 1929 in San Benito, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 1, 2019 in Houston, Texas.  Ramiro was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend.  A hardworking man whose family always came first.  He was preceded in death by his father, David Carrasco; by his mother, Aurora Palacios; also by his wife, Maria A. Zavala.  Ramiro leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughters, Alicia M. Garza & husband Esteban, Dynora E. Carrasco, and Jeanette Cavazos & husband Jorge; his brothers, Raul Carrasco, Ruben Carrasco, Roberto Carrasco, and Juanito Carrasco; his sisters, Rebecca Carrasco and Alicia Carrasco; his grandchildren, Vanessa, John Paul, Viviana, Anahi, and Diego; 12 great grandchildren; he also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.  Ramiro will be dearly missed by all those who where touched by his beautiful soul.

Prayer Service:  7:00pm

Location:  Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later date.
