Eugene Mendoza, 71, was born on June 26, 1947 in Houston, Texas and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on June 2, 2019 in Houston, Texas.  Eugene was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Mendoza; Stepfather, Mario Piña; and his brothers, Adam Piña and Phillip Piña.  Eugene is survived by his mother, Patsy Piña; his wife of 30 years, Dalia Angelina Mendoza; his sons, Mark Mendoza & wife Alyssa, David Mendoza & wife Nina, and Jesse Anthony Cerda; his daughter, Jackie Marie Rivera & husband Luis; his brothers, Martin Piña, Mario Dino Piña, and Adrian Piña; his sisters, Lisa Gregory, Patsy Hubner, and Ernie Sandoval; his grandchildren, Jonathan Cerda, Gabrielle Nolazco & husband Kevin, Joshua Cerda, Sarra Cerda, Hailey Cerda, Graziella Cerda, Jayden Cerda, Andrew Mendoza, Mark Mendoza, Jareth Mendoza, and Devan Mendoza; and many other relatives and friends.  Eugene will be greatly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with him.
