Elvira Salazar, 92, born on October 14, 1921 in Allende, Nuevo León, México & was called home to be with her "Lord & Savior" on October 22, 2013 in her home in Allende Nuevo León, México while being surrounded by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her Husband of 48 Years, Jose C. Salazar. She is survived by her Sons. Jose H. Salazar, Ruben A. Salazar & Martin Salzar; Brothers, Juventino G. Flores & Luis Flores; Sisters, Guadalupe Flores & Herlinda Flores & Grandchildren, Candace Salzar, Belen Salazar, Gabriel Salazar, Jennifer Salazar. Angel Salazar, Brian Salazar, Steben Salazar & Melany Salazar. Visitation will be held Friday, October 25, 2013 from 4-9pm at Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel with a Rosary being recited at 7:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
