Agapito Avila, 82, was born September 20, 1939 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico and entered eternal rest on October 26, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Agapito was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, Esteban Avila and Manuela Castano. Agapito leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 48 years of marriage, Benita Avila; his sons, Jaime Avila & wife Monica and Alejandro Avila; her daughter, Elvia Avila Arredondo; his grandchildren, Christy Arredondo Avila, Jaime Avila, Jr., Michael Avila, Karissa Avila, Alexie Avila, and Allie Avila; his brother and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews; he is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends. Agapito will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.

Agapito Avila, 82, nacio el 20 de septiembre de 1939 en Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico y entro en eterno descanso el 26 de Octubre del 2021 en Houston, Texas. Agapito fue un esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano, tio, y amigo muy querido. Le preceden en vida su padres, Esteban Avila y Manuela Castano. Le sobreviven para atesorar sus recuerdos, su amada esposa de 48 años de matrimonio, Benita Avila; sus hijos, Jaime Avila y su esposa Monica, y Alejandro Avila; su hija, Elvia Avila Arredondo; sus nietos, Christy Arredondo Avila, Jaime Avila, Jr., Michael Avila, Karissa Avila, Alexie Avila, y Allie Avila; sus hermanos y hermanas;  y sus sobrinos y sobrinas; tambien le sobreviven muchos mas familiares y un gran numero de amistades. Agapito sera recordado con mucho amor y cariño por todos aquellos con quienes compartio en vida.
